Flow regulation for your O1 and O2. The OREA Regulators are plug-and-play silicone bases that press into the bottom of your brewer and set a maximum output flow rate, giving you predictable control over contact time and extraction.
They use the same design as OREA's V4 FAST base, with even contact points across the bed and plenty of space for air and water to flow, so the brew doesn't choke or stall. Think of them as training wheels for dialing in tricky coffees, from highly soluble processed coffees to ultra-light roasts.
The three Regulators
#2 Regulator (dark grey): the slowest flow rate, for the longest contact time
#4 Regulator (black): the middle option, steady and reliable
#8 Switch Regulator (orange): the fastest flow rate, shaped to work with the Hario Switch immersion base
At the same grind size, moving from the fastest to the slowest Regulator adds roughly 15–30 seconds of contact time.
